1st September (CRICKETNMORE) - Former Pakistan Captain and one of the finest fast bolwer cricket has ever seen, Wasim Akram recounts the excitement and thrill that came every time he played at Lord's. In an interview for Lords Video Channel, he shared his memories, regret and achievement at Lords.

Remembering his first test at Lords in 1987, he said, "As a young 18 years old, coming to England and playing at Lords was a dream come true for me. I was full of excitement to play for my country Pakistan at Lords, an ultimate thing for any cricketer".

Akram took 4/66 and scored the winning runs in his first appearence at Lords. He never took five wicket haul at lords and he still regret it,"The only regret I had as a bowler that I have 25 five wickets haul in test cricket but none of them at Lords," he said.

Akram As a Captain at Lords - Pakistan won another test at Lords in 1996 England tour and Akram was the captain. "It was my achievement to won the test as captain," Akram said.

Akram played in four Lord’s Tests between 1987 and 2001, with a high score of 45* in 1992, and best figures in an innings of 4/66 in the same Test which Pakistan went on to win.
