August 22 (CRICKETNMORE) - The big-hitting 37-year-old opener Chris Gayle and all-rounder Marlon Samuels have both been named in West Indies ODI squad for the upcoming series against England and Ireland next month. The side will be led by Jason Holder

Chris Gayle is set to play his first one-day international in more than two years. Gayle last played an ODI in the 2015 World Cup quarter-final but returned for West Indies in a Twenty20 against India last month following an improvement in player and board relations.

Veteran seamer Jerome Taylor is another back in the squad which begins its campaign with a one-off ODI against Ireland in Belfast on September 13 before facing England in a five-match Royal London Series.
