June 21 (CRICKETNMORE) - After a disappointing Champions Trophy for both England and South Africa, both the teams are ready for the 3 match Twenty20 series against England. Many key players are missing from both the sides as they have been giving rest.

The opening game of the series will be playe at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on Wednesday.

For South Africa, Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy and Kagiso Rabada have been rested with the Test series in mind, while Faf du Plessis is back home in South Africa awaiting the birth of his first child. England's omissions, meanwhile, include Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid - four integral members of the team that carried England to the World T20 final last year.
