England thrashed West Indies in first test at Edebaston

August 20 (CRICKETNMORE) - England thrashed West Indies by an innings and 209 runs in the inaugural day-night Test in Britain ended inside three days at Edgbaston on Saturday.

Stuart Broad stars in second innings for England as he took 3 West Indies wickets. He has gone past Ian Botham tlly of 383 wickets and now second on England's all-time wicket-takers list. Currently Broad has 384 test wickets.

West Indies, following-on, lost 19 wickets for 261 runs in the day's play as England surged to a 1-0 lead in this three-Test series.
