England beat WIndies by 186 runs in 3rd ODI to secure series whitewash

March 10 (CRICKETNMORE) - England beat West Indies by 185 runs in the third ODI to complete a 3-0 series whitewash. For the first time since 1991, England have whitewashed the West Indies. For England, it was their fifth-highest runs margin victory.

Alex Hales and Joe Root scored their 5th & 9th ODI hundred respectively as the tourists post 328 before skittling the hosts for 142 in 39.2 overs. Chris Woakes (three for 16) and Liam Plunkett (three for 27) took most advantage of home failings

Alex Hales was awarded Man of the Match for his knock of 110 runs off 107 deliveries
