Kieron Pollard and Sanjay Manjrekar controversy

During 10th season of IPL, commentator Sanjay Manjrekar remarked on Kieron Pollard that the West Indian player is capable of hitting in the last six over’s of the innings he lacks the sense of playing in the top. The comment made Kieron Pollard angry and he tweeted about the former Indian batsman, “if you are getting money for speaking anything on anyone then keep on going and commenting for money”.

MS Dhoni removed from captaincy

In IPL 2017, MS Dhoni, one of the best captains in Indian history got removed from the captaincy for Pune Supergiant and Steve Smith was awarded with the responsibility. The decision was later criticized and made the fans angry over the management.

Sanjeev Goenka commenting bad over Dhoni

As the controversy of MS Dhoni captaincy saga got down, the owner of the team Sanjeev Goenka came out with another controversy as he tweeted that “The decision of making Steve Smith as the captain of Pune Supergiants was worth and correct, as he showed who is the king of the jungle” by showing his skills of captaincy on the cricket field. After his staggering tweet over MS Dhoni the fans got angry and trolled him all around the world of social media.

 

Virat Kohli and anchor Archana Photo Controversy

In IPL 2017,during an interview of Virat Kohli that was taken by Archana Vijaya, a picture came out where Virat Kohli was looking at the portion of the jeans of Archana, from where her body part was visible. People turned this picture into a big controversy after which Archana Vijaya came out publicly and said that the mentality of Indians should change and the way they look at the women should also be changed.

Maharashtra drought led talks over changing the venue of IPL

Maharashtra was prevailing with a tragedy of drought because of which lots of farmers had lost their life. Looking forward to this situation High court gave a decision according to which the match that are to be played in Mumbai should be played outside Maharashtra as 60000 litres of water gets consumed during a match which was not possible at that period of time.
