Goswami was also in the zone, scoring 71 off 52 deliveries.

Earlier, Bengal medium pacer Sayan Ghosh returned figures of 3-30 as Assam had Arun Karthik to thank for his unbeaten 76 batting at No.4.
In the other match at the Eden, Tripura rode Udiyan Bose's 74 off just 38 balls to beat Jharkhand by 24 runs.

Jharkhand fought hard to reach the stiff target with opener Shasheem Rathour hitting 70 off 53 balls. But in the end, Joydeep Bhattacharjee took two wickets to dent their chase.
