Islamabad, 28 October (CRICKETNMORE):  The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has left out veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal from its list of central contracts for the 2016-17 season.

Afridi was in category A, the highest rung in last year's contract while Ajmal was in category B. The PCB released its list on Thursday.

The PCB said as many as 30 players were included in four categories with Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, limited-overs captain Azhar Ali and Twenty20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed placed among eight players in category A.
