In the 23rd match of the ongoing Big Bash League 2021-22 between Melbourne Stars & Brisbane Heat where Melbourne after opting to bat first posted 207/9 in their 20 overs. In this carnage, one bowler who probably had the worse day was Liam Guthrie.

Guthrie in his quota of 4 overs was thrashed for 7- runs at an economy of 17.50. It was due to this underperformance, Melbourne Stars were able to post a total of 207 against the Brisbane Heat. Liam Guthrie also managed to pick up two wickets but it was off no use to his team.
