एरॉन फिंच आईपीएल 2021 की नीलामी में अनसोल्ड रहे। आईपीएल फ्रेंचाइजियों के इस फैसले से ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व टेस्ट कप्तान माइकल क्लार्क हैरान हैं। क्लार्क ने कहा है कि आईपीएल टीमों की यह अस्वीकृति ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मौजूदा सीमित ओवरों के कप्तान को परेशान करेगी।

फिंच, जिन्हें इस साल अक्टूबर-नवंबर में भारत में टी20 विश्व कप के लिए ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम का नेतृत्व करने की उम्मीद है, को रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर ने गुरुवार की हुई नीलामी से पहले रिलीज कर दिया था।
