    IPL 2021: Shams Mulani Joins DC As Axar Patel's Replacement For Brief Period

    Mumbai left-arm spinner Shams Mulani has joined Delhi Capitals as a short-term replacement for Axar Patel in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Left-arm spinner Axar had tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the season and is under isolation and treatment.

    "Delhi Capitals have brought in Shams Mulani as a short-term COVID-19 replacement for Axar Patel for their VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 campaign," said a statement from the Indian Premier League (IPL).
