No matter what, Steve Smith will be a 'cheat' forever: Steve Harmison
Manchester, Sep 9: Even though Steve Smith has been in immaculate form in the ongoing Ashes and has single-handedly allowed Australia to retain the Urn, former England pacer Steve Harmison believes the Australian batter will always be remembered as a "cheat".
Smith was last year handed a one-year suspension by Cricket for his involvement in the Sandpaper Gate fiasco, which also saw Cameron Bancroft and David Warner getting banned for nine months and one year, respectively.
