SL vs BAN: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Look To Move Up In WTC Standings

Both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be looking to move up the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) standings when they face off here at the Pallekele Stadium in the first Test from Wednesday.

While Sri Lanka is eighth with 20 percent of points (PCT) in the WTC standings, Bangladesh is yet to open its account and is ninth. If Bangladesh wins the series 2-0, they would leapfrog Sri Lanka to eighth. Even if Bangladesh wins 1-0 and the other match is tied then also they would move up.
