Presently the Knights have two wicket-keeper batsmen in their squad -- Robin Uthappa and Sheldon Jackson. The latter however, has not played in a game this season yet.

Boucher, 39, is not a stranger to the league. He donned the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey between 2008 and 2010 and then played for the Knights in 2011.

He played 147 Tests, 295 One-Day Internationals and 25 T20 Internationals, where he had a record 998 international dismissals to his credit. His career was cut short by a freak eye injury.
