Electing to bat, Discipilined bowling performance by the English pacers bundled out India for mere 153 runs. Steven Finn picked up his career-best figures of 5/33 while James Anderson finished with figures of 4/18.

In reply, England reached the target in 27.3 overs with opener Ian Bell top scoring with an unbeaten 88 and James Taylor making 56 not out.
