"Over 100,000 fans have so far watched the IPL matches through the IPL Fan Park initiative. Bilaspur, Amritsar, Baroda, Meerut, Kangra, Nadiad, Saharanpur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Surat, Allahabad, Gwalior, Panipat, Nashik and Hubli have witnessed huge turnout and the response has been overwhelming," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement on Thursday.

The fan parks are built in specifically selected open arenas and stadia throughout the country to provide a stadium-like experience to the residents of the cities that do not host the IPL matches.
