Sangha rose through the junior ranks last summer and was selected in the New South Wales Under-15 Schoolboys team before being picked for the Cricket Australia Invitation outfits for the U-17 and U-19 national championships.

Sangha was later roped into the national under-19 team in January and scored a brilliant 102 on his youth One-Day debut against Pakistan in Dubai.

"New South Wales has a long tradition of backing young talent and we are delighted to be able to bring Jason Sangha, Arjun Nair, Liam Hatcher and Chris Green into the Blues squad this summer," Cricket New South Wales CEO Andrew Jones was quoted as saying by espncricinfo on Thursday.

"Along with Mickey Edwards, Jonte Pattison and Henry Thornton, these rookies have a tremendous amount of potential and we look forward to seeing them develop under the guidance of the Blues coaching staff and senior players."
