Woakes, Boult will make big impact for KKR, says Manish Pandey ()
Kolkata, Feb 24 (CRICKETNMORE): India batsman Manish Pandey, who is part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), said new recruits Chris Woakes and Trent Boult would make the difference for the city-based franchise in the cash-rich Twenty20 cricket league starting April 5.
England's Woakes and New Zealand's Boult were roped in for Rs 4.2 crore and Rs 5 crore, respectively, in the 2017 auctions.
"These two players, Woakes and Boult, will be really good," Pandey, who is playing for Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Jharkhand in their opening match at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, told reporters here.
