Chris Gayle ()
April 18 (CRICKETNMORE) - One of the most destructive batsmen in the shortest format of the game, Chris Gayle has become the first batsman in the world to reach the landmark of 10,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket. Gayle achieved this milestone in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s match against Gujarat Lions in the ongoing tenth edition of the Indian Premier League.
Gayle has played 290 T20 matches - 50 international matches for West Indies in which he scored 1519 runs at an average of 35.32, hitting two centuries.
