New Delhi, April 11 (CRICKETNMORE): The Supreme Court will examine whether persons who are disqualified to be the office bearers of the state cricket associations could be their nominees to attend the annual or the special general body meeting of the BCCI.
A bench of Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M.Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y.Chandrachud said that they would look into the issue on an application by the Committee of Administrators as bench was told that former BCCI President N. Srinivasan and Secretary Niranjan Shah were attending the meetings ahead of the special general body meeting of the apex cricketing body that will take place this week.
While directing the hearing of the matter on April 17, the bench observed: "If infrastructure is collapseable, it is not conceivable how the super-structur e will come up."
