Sept. 28 (CRICKETNMORE) - Former Australia fast bowler Max Walker has passed away, aged 68, following a battle with cancer. He is best remembered for his unique bowling action, which earned him the nickname 'Tangles', while he forged a strong career in the media following his playing days.

"Max was an outstanding cricketer who played an important role in the emergence of successful Australian cricket teams in the 1970s," said Cricket Australia CEO James Suitherland.
