Ex-Karnataka cricketers CM Gautam,Abrar Kazi arrested on fixing charges

Bengaluru, Nov 7: Former Karnataka cricketers CM Gautam and Abrar Kazi have been arrested by state police's Central Crime Branch (CCB) on charges of spot fixing which took place in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) final earlier this year.

According to an ESPNcricinfo report, Gautam, captain of Bellary Tuskers, and Kazi who plays for the same team, allegedly accepted Rs 20 lakh for "slow batting" in the final against Hubli Tigers, which the Tuskers lost by eight runs.
