If this is so, Chahal proved quite a lot to Royal Challengers Bangalore in his very first match against them after being released. 

    In the 9th over of the innings, RCB were at 62/2 while chasing a target of 170 runs. At this juncture of the game, Bangalore needed their experienced batter Virat Kohli to stay at the crease and take the game deep. However, Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson and former RCB player Yuzvendra Chahal teamed up splendidly well to dismiss former Bangalore captain and batting great Virat Kohli.
