    Many Irish batters got a good start in the first T20I but failed to convert it into a big score. Curtis Campher was the top scorer with 29 runs while all-rounder Mark Adair etched 25 runs. George Dockrell scored, Lorcan Tucker, Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie managed to cross the double-digit mark but couldn't cross 20 runs.
