IND vs SA: Match Preview:

KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav have been in good touch in this series, registering individual half-centuries in both matches. KL silenced all the critics for his 91.07 strike rate knock in the 1st T20I, smacking 57 runs off 28 balls in the second match. Suryakumar Yadav has been in stunning form, smacking a 33-ball-50* in the first match and a 22-ball-61 in the second match. Virat Kohli showcased class in the 2nd T20I with a 28-ball-49*, laced with 7 fours & a six. It is unlikely that India will make any changes to the batting order despite the 3rd T20I being a 'dead rubber'.

The bowling department has been troublesome for team India, especially in the death overs. In the first match, South Africa went from 9/5 in 2.3 overs to 106/8 in 20 overs, avoiding an all-out. In the second T20I, team India managed to win the match by just 16 runs despite scoring 237. Deepak Chahar has performed well enough while Arshdeep Singh leaked runs in the second match in death overs, despite two wickets to his name in the powerplay. Ashwin has also gone wicket-less, and since Axar Patel has been picking important wickets, it is likely that Yuzvendra Chahal may get a game in place of Ashwin in the 3rd T20I. 

The South African top order collapsed in the first T20I, with as many as four top orders going for a duck. However, David Miller showed the terrific form that he's been in this year, smacking an unbeaten 106 runs off just 47 balls, taking South Africa to almost the brink of victory. Quinton de Kock also scored 69 balls but taking 48 balls to do so while chasing 238 costed the match for South Africa. The tourists are expected to go with the same batting lineup in the 3rd T20I.

Proteas' bowling attack is better than their batting attack, with the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, and even Lungi Ngidi who made his way to the playing XI in the 2nd T20I. However, Maharaj was the sole wicket-taker and economical bowler in the 2nd match, picking up 2 wickets for 23 runs in his 4 overs.
