Mithali Raj insists on playing warm-up games during South Africa tour
Mumbai, Jan 23 (Cricketnmore) Contrary to the men's cricket team that decided against playing any warm-up fixtures in the run-up to the ongoing Test rubber against South Africa, the Indian women team skipper Mithali Raj on Tuesday insisted on playing a few practice games ahead of the limited overs series against the South African women.
The women's squad will tour South Africa for a three-match ODI series, which starts at Kimberly on February 5, followed by a five-match T20 series beginning on February 13 at Potchefstroom. The team will fly on Thursday.
