Overton To Replace Anderson As England Announce Playing XI For 3rd Test Against New Zealand

Fast bowler Jamie Overton will make his England Test debut in the third and final Test of the series against New Zealand, replacing injured James Anderson, captain Ben Stokes confirmed on Wednesday.

Stokes, who had himself been a concern after missing training through illness on Tuesday, came through a training session on Wednesday after linking up with the squad, and will lead out the side in search of a 3-0 series win after victory at Lord's and Trent Bridge.
