In his comeback match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the right-handed batter smacked 52 runs and helped his team to a good total. In his second match against RCB, the batter continued his form as he smacked another half-century, this time unbeaten.
Batting first, Mumbai Indians got off to a great start as openers Rohit Sharma (26) and Ishan Kishan (26) added 50 runs for the first wicket. However, once captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed in the 7th over, the 5-time champions suffered a batting collapse as they went from 50/1 in 6.2 overs to 79/6 in 13.2 overs.
