IPL 2022 PBKS vs RCB: In the third match of IPL 2022, Punjab Kings won the toss & opted to field first against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Skipper Faf du Plessis and youngster Anuj Rawat came out to open the innings for RCB. Even though the RCB captain started off cautiously, Anuj Rawat displayed his intent from the very first bowl itself. 

Although Anuj Rawat was dismissed after scoring just 21 runs in 20 balls, the uncapped player smacked 2 sixes and a four in his short stay at the crease. In his short innings, Anuj Rawat smacked a humongous six against Sandeep Sharma, which landed very far away. 

Sandeep Sharma was bowling the 3rd over of the innings and on the 4th delivery of this over, Anuj Rawat showed fearless guts and came running down the track, dispatching the ball far into the stands. Rawat charged down the pitch while making a bit of room and belted it away over long-on with all his might.

While talking about the match, both the teams are being led by a new captain in their first match this season. Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal won the toss & opted to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 3rd match of the IPL 2022. This match is being played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
