RCB vs MI IPL 2022: Glenn Maxwell made an impactful comeback as he was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore after a string of bad runs with Punjab Kings, and was immediately loved by RCB fans. The all-rounder smacked 513 runs in the last season for RCB and joined his team late in the IPL 2022. However, he marked his return with a magnificent run out in his first IPL 2022 outing.

Tilak Varma has been a revelation for Mumbai Indians and has displayed excellent batting in the three matches MI have played. However, none of those came in a winning cause for 5-time champions. In the ongoing match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the youngster wasn't even able to open his run account as RCB's Big Show did the job with a stellar throw.

On the 5th delivery of the 10th over, being bowled by Akash Deep, Varma tapped the short ball angling away in front of short cover and ran for a single. Maxwell displayed 'superhero' stuff as the Australian ran in, picked the ball and aimed perfectly at one stump visible to him with an under-arm direct hit all in 3 seconds, to send the in form youngster back to the pavilion for a duck.

Maxwell was unavailable for the first three matches of Royal Challengers Bangalore as he was touring Pakistan along with the rest of the Australian players.
