Mumbai, October 22 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is Unicef Ambassador for South Asia, has applauded its decision to associate with the International Cricket Council (ICC), the global governing body of cricket, over a five-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnership to "promote the cause of under privileged children".

The "PK" actor took to Twitter on Thursday to share the news with his fans.

“Am very happy that the ICC and Unicef have joined hands to promote the cause of under privileged children across the world. #Unite4Children,” Aamir tweeted.

The collaboration between Unicef and ICC is aimed at using the popularity of cricket for social good. 

This partnership provides Unicef a critical platform to reach millions of children, adolescents and their families and positively impact their lives.
