Chittagong, Jan 30 (Cricketnmore): Bangladesh youth team's off-spinner Sanjit Saha has been reported for suspected bowling action against South Africa in the opening match of the Under-19 World Cup.

With the 43-run victory over the reigning champions still fresh in their mind, the news was a bolt from the blue for Bangladesh colts. The umpires of the match formally lodged the complaint after the game ended at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here, a news agency reported.

The 18-year-old went wicketless giving away 30 runs in eight overs against the Proteas.

He will undergo a test within the next two weeks at an ICC-approved laboratory. However, he will be able to keep bowling until the result is out, as per the rules.

Bangladesh take on Scotland in the second Group A match in Cox's Bazar on Sunday.
