IPL 2022 Mega Auction - From Ishan Kishan's Record Bid To Suresh Raina's Empty Bid, Day 1 Report

IPL 2022 Mega Auction, Day 1 Highlights - It was an eventful day in Bengaluru where the first day of the IPL Mega Auction 2022 took place. The day not only saw some whopping amount of money being spent on players but a few nervous moments as well.

The auctioneer Hugh Edmeades had a medical emergency in the middle of the auction when he collapsed due to low blood pressure. The Auction was halted for a while and the lunch was taken early while Edmeades was given medical attention. Although he was confirmed to be stable but couldn't continue the Auction and Charu Sharma was called up immediately to resume the day.
