After Team India received setbacks in the form of Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad & Shreyas Iyer returning covid positive results, BCCI has through a press release informed that Ishan Kishan and Shahrukh Khan will join the ODI squad ahead of the 3-match series to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. 

Earlier, Mayank Agarwal was added to the Indian squad as a replacement. Ishan Kishan played 2 ODI matches for India in Sri Lanka last year, while Shahrukh Khan is yet to make his debut for the Indian side.

Ishan Kishan and Shahrukh Khan added to squad for 1st ODI

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has added Ishan Kishan and Shahrukh Khan to India’s squad for the first ODI against the West Indies to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Squad for the 1st ODI: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohd. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Ishan Kishan, Shahrukh Khan.
