IPL Auction 2022: Mumbai Indians Pick Ishan Kishan At A Record Rs. 15.25 Crores

 

In the ongoing IPL 2022 auction, many players were bought for huge sums but Ishan Kishan emerged as the highest earner, more than he would have actually expected. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter was bought back by Mumbai Indian but this time at a much larger price. 

Mumbai Indians acquired Ishan Kishan after their highest bid of 15.25 crores. He has now become the most expensive player to be sold in this auction. Kishan had set his base price at 2 crores and became the first player ever to be bought at a price in excess of 10 crores by Mumbai Indians, which was also was his former team. 

While talking about other highest earners in this auction, Shreyas Iyer is the second most expensive until now as he went for 12.25 crores to Kolkata Knight Riders. Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga went to Royal Challengers Bangalore at 10.75 crores each while Nicholas Pooran is sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad at 10.75 crores as well.
