Phil Simmons Laments Poor High-Quality Preparation After South Africa Loss
After West Indies's second successive Test defeat against South Africa here West Indies coach Phil Simmons lamented that not enough "high-quality preparation is happening in the territories" to bring in more talented players into Caribbean cricket.
West Indies failed to cross the 200-run mark in any of the four innings in the two-Test series against South Africa, losing the first Test by an innings and 63 runs and the second by 158 runs at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium.
