World Test Championship: Updated WTC Points Table After SL vs PAK 2nd Test
After conceding a loss in the first test, the Sri Lankan team bounced back in the 2nd test as they thrashed Pakistan by 246 runs, levelling the 2-match series 1-1. All-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva was adjudged the player of the match for his ton in the third innings which set up a mammoth chase for Pakistan.
After opting to bat first, Sri Lanka posted 378/10 in the first innings with Dinesh Chandimal (80) being the top scorer. Niroshan Dickwella (51) and Oshawa Fernando (50) also contributed with fifties to help Lanka to a good total. In reply, Pakistan were bowled out for 231 courtesy of a 5-fer by Lankan spinner Ramesh Mendis.
