June 3 (CRICKETNMORE) Shakib al Hasan, who played a pivotal role in Bangladesh's emphatic win in their opening World Cup match over South Africa, believes there has been a massive improvement in their game in the last decade.

A wonderful batting display led by the experienced duo of Shakib Al Hasan (75) and Mushfiqur Rahim (78), supported by eye-catching cameos from Soumya Sarkar (42) and Mahmudullah (46), helped Bangladesh post 330/6 after being asked to bat by South Africa captain Faf du Plessis on Sunday at the Kennington Oval. The bowlers then struck regularly to restrict South Africa to 309/8 and register a convincing 21-run victory over the Proteas.
