DDCA wants re-election as BCCI plans ad-hoc committee for association

New Delhi, May 8:  Having stopped grants to the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) due to the controversies that it has been engulfed in over the last few months, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now looking at forming an ad-hoc committee to run the association. But DDCA officials feel that there should be a re-election for the posts left vacant after Rajat Sharma resigned as President and with Vinod Tihara in jail.

Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official said that the only way forward seems to have an ad-hoc body which will look into the day-to-day functioning of the DDCA.
