Sandeep Lamichhane To Lead Nepal After Gyanendra Malla Stripped Off Captaincy Over Disciplinary Issues

The Cricket Association of Nepal has stripped captain Gyanendra Malla and vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee of their posts over disciplinary issues and instead appointed star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane as the new skipper.

The cricket's association's governing body decided not to offer central contracts to the duo along with fast bowler Sompal Kami and Kamal Singh Airee for the first six months of 2022 for allegedly violating the body's code of conduct.
