Hapless JKCA clubs want voting rights restored ahead of BCCI polls

New Delhi, Sep 25: Even as the BCCI Committee of Administrators (CoA) have passed several clarifications in the lead up to the board elections citing the newly registered constitution, they have failed to solve a basic issue for the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) wherein old members have been excluded from the association and don't have voting rights going into what is set to be the biggest polling process in recent times.

Speaking to IANS, former General Secretary Iqbal Shah said that despite repeated efforts, all pleas have fallen on deaf ears as the CoA in the JKCA have refused to budge from their position and are yet to re-induct the old members who had been excluded citing amendment of the constitution.
