WATCH: Andre Russell Goes After The Most 'Bizarre Run Out' In The History Of Cricket
In the 2nd match of the Bangladesh Premier League, Dhaka Platoon faced off against Khulna Tigers. While batting first, Dhaka posted a total of 183/6 in their 20 overs. Dhaka's Andre Russell looked in good rhythm but he was run out in the 'most bizarre way', which has shocked everyone.
This incident happened in the 15th over when Russell called for a single against Thisara Perera, and his partner Mahmudullah, who was standing at the other end obliged. Tigers' fielder Mahedi Hasan got hold of the ball quickly and threw it at the striker's end but Mahmudullah was safely inside.
