BAN vs SL: Umpire Richard Kettleborough Leaves The Field Due To Excessive Heat

BSN vs SL: Due to the excessive heat during Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka 1st test at Chattogram, on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough had to leave the field due to illness.

Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka: A weird & undesirable incident happened in the test match being played in Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. The play was temporarily stopped on Wednesday when umpire Richard Kettleborough had to leave the ground due to illness. The excessive heat in Chattogram affected the umpire to the point he wasn't able to officiate any further. Richard Kettlwborough left the ground in the 139th over. 

TV umpire Joe Wilson stood in place of English umpire Richard Kettleboroug. The players took a small drinks break after the incident happened. One can determine the heat from a scene where the players were under huge umbrellas due to the sun and heat. 

While talking about the first test match being played between Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, Angelo Mathews scored 199 runs in the first innings as Sri Lanka posted 397 runs. In reply, Bangladesh scored 465 runs and asserted the first-inning lead of 68 runs. 

The Chattogram heat continues to cause havoc.

For Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal scored 133 runs while Mushfiqur Rahim scored 105 runs. At the end of day 4's play, the Sri Lankan team has scored 39 runs for 2 wickets. Sri Lanka are still trailing by 29 runs due to the first inning lead by Bangladesh. With the play on day 4 concluded, this match is moving towards a draw.
