Upcoming World Cup Will Break New Ground For Women's Cricket: Sophie Devine
New Zealand women's cricket team skipper Sophie Devine has said that these are exciting times for women's cricket with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games this year and the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023, adding that her team will hope to emulate the 2000 title-winning feat when the ICC Women's 50-over World Cup begins in her country on March 4.
The Women's World Cup will be played across six venues in New Zealand with the hosts set to take on the West Indies on the opening day.
