Sri Lanka tour of England started on 19th May. The tour consist of 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20. The last test series between the two teams was won by Sri Lanka in 2014 in England only. Sri Lanka made history at Headingley, Leeds, when it snatched a thrilling series win over England off the penultimate ball of the final Test of their two-match series.
In the current series, England team is looking more balanced ready to exploit the home conditions. On the other hand Sri Lankan team performance in the recent times has not been good and team is still working to fill the void left by the retirements of Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara. This will be a big series for the Sri Lankan youngsters.
