Perth, March 6 (IANS) West Indies captain Jason Holder won the toss and elected to bat against India in a World Cup Pool B contest at the WACA here on Friday.

India have brought back pacer Mohammed Shami, who was out of the last game against the United Arab Emirates with an injury, replacing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The Caribbean side, meanwhile, have replaced spinner Sulieman Benn with an extra pacer Kemar Roach, keeping in mind the pacy and bouncy nature of the wicket.
