Kolkata, May 29 (IANS) Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha, who has to fill in the big boots of former Test captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the Indian team during the coming Bangladesh tour, says he would want to contribute as much to the team as the illustrious Jharkhand cricketer.

Dhoni has scored 4,876 runs from 144 innings at an average of 38.09, while Saha has 147 runs from eight innings so far.

"(I) want to contribute as much as Dhoni did before with the bat," Saha told reporters here on Friday.

Asked how he was preparing for the upcoming Bangladesh tour starting June 10, the 30-year-old said: "I am playing a lot of games here and there is not much of a difference between pitches in Kolkata and Bangladesh. Hopefully will be in touch when I finally play in the neighbouring country."
