Indian team has made a strong comeback with their bowling after getting bowled out for 202 in the first innings of the Johannesburg Test. On day 2 of the test, Shardul Thakur picked up 3 wickets in the first session and brought team India back in the game. Although South Africa looked ahead while they were batting, captain Dean Elgar's wicket cause a turnaround.

The 2nd wicket partnership between Dean Elgar and Keegan Petersen were causing trouble for the Indian team. At this juncture, stand-in Indian captain KL Rahul handed the ball to Shardul Thakur and the 'Lord' didn't disappoint! Dean Elgar looked helpless in front of a swinging delivery by Shardul Thakur and the ball took Elgar's bat's edge and went to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant's gloves.

Before getting out, Elgar played a sturdy inning of 28 runs in 120 balls. After Dean Elgar's dismissal, Petersen and Rassie van der Dussen were dismissed in quick succession. All the three wickets were picked by Shardul Thakur and brought Team India back right into the game. 

While writing this piece, South Africa is at  151/4 in the second session of Day 2. Earlier, Indian stand-in captain KL Rahul won the toss & opted to bat first. India was bowled out for 202, with 50 runs from KL Rahul & 46 from R Ashwin. South African young pacer Marco Jensen picked up 4 wickets.
