South Africa vs India: In the ongoing test match between these two at Cape Town, team India currently seems to be in a strong position. In the 48th over of the second innings, Keshav Maharaj came onto bowl. Rishabh Pant immediately switched gears and swept for a six. South Africa planned for Pant to mishit the spinner, but the Indian wicketkeeper took on the challenge, goes for the slog-sweep, fetching the ball from well outside off, and a vintage Pant 'one-handed' strike cleared mid-wicket.

On the very next delivery, Pant smashed the ball even longer. The 24-year old went down the pitch and lofted the ball downtown. The mid-off fielder was up in the circle, and Pant produced yet another percentage blow.

Talking about the match, while writing this piece, India are at 162/6 with a lead of 175 runs. Rishabh Pant is at 74* while Shardul Thakur has just come out to bat. The 3-match test series is levelled at 1-1 with this match being the decider, and if India wins this match they'd achieve their maiden test series win in South Africa.
