New Delhi, December 22 - Jharkhand wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan will lead the Indian cricket team at the 2016 Under-19 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh from January 27 to February 14.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Junior National Selection Committee met on Tuesday to select a 15-member team, which is coached by the legendary Rahul Dravid.

Delhi player Rishabh Pant will be Kishan's deputy in the biennial event. India have won the tournament thrice in 2000, 2008 and 2012.

India have been grouped with Australia, New Zealand and Nepal in the first round and will open against Australia on January 28 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

India U-19 squad: Ishan Kishan (captain), Rishabh Pant (vice-captain), Washington Sundar, Sarfaraz Khan, Amandeep Khare, Anmolpreet Singh, Arman Jaffer, Ricky Bhui, Mayank Dagar, Zeeshan Ansari, Mahipal Lomror, Avesh Khan, Shubham Mavi, Khaleel Ahmed, Rahul Batham.
